Notice that in step 5, you are to confess both to proper priesthood authority and to another person (in addition to God and yourself). It seems as if there is more of a concern in the LDS ARM 12 steps with repentance within the context of the church. In particular, I find the distinctions between the latter two fascinating. I find them interesting for how they differ from both the original 12 steps associated with AA and from Heart t’ Heart’s 12 steps associated with the Book of Mormon.
